Laurel Auerbacher, a Miami native and Florida State graduate, grew up in a real estate family in Palmetto Bay attending public schools Howard Drive through Miami Palmetto High.

As an adult, she raised her three children in Palmetto Bay as well where she was actively involved working and volunteering at their school Westminster Christian and Christ Fellowship church for the past 15 years.
